About Andrea Waters, Esq.

Andrea Waters embarked on her journey with Golden Key Law Group in 2024 as an Associate Attorney, dedicating herself to the field of Family Law with a deep commitment to serving the community. Her academic foundation was laid at the University of Tampa, where she earned a degree in Political Science and Philosophy, and further solidified at Stetson University College of Law, where she completed her JD. 

During her time at Stetson, Andrea’s dedication to advocacy was evident through her involvement with the renowned Trial Team, which is nationally recognized for its excellence. She demonstrated her advocacy skills by reaching finalist positions in two significant competitions and received the Victor O. Wheele Award for achieving the highest grade in her Trial Advocacy section.

Andrea’s practical experience is rich and varied. She served as a Judicial Intern for Judge Wesley D. Tibbals in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court’s Family Law Division, gaining invaluable insights into family law proceedings. Her internship at the Law Office of Julianne M. Holt with the Hillsborough County Public Defender and her externship with IACP Collaborative Family Law further honed her skills and reinforced her commitment to community service.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Andrea is passionate about giving back to her community. In her personal time, she enjoys being with her family, engaging in scrapbooking, and reading, which helps her stay connected to the values she upholds in her legal practice.
